Mustang Media Fest 2025 – Student Photographer Agreement

This Student Contract is entered on this day of Wednesday, May 28, 2025, by and between Warren Notrica and Mustang Media Fest, hosted by Mustang Media Relations at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Engagement:

The Event Organizer hereby engages the Photographer, and the Photographer agrees to provide professional photography services for the Professional Headshot Booth during Mustang Media Fest 2025 on October 22 and October 23, 2025.

Compensation:

The Photographer will be compensated at an hourly rate of $18.00 per hour for all hours worked on-site during the event. Total compensation will be based on actual hours worked.

Schedule & Location:

The event will take place at the Mustang News Conference Room – Building 26. The Photographer agrees to be present during the following hours each day:

• AM Session: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
• Lunch Break: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• PM Session: 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

This schedule applies to both October 22 and 23.

Photographer Responsibilities:

The Photographer agrees to:

• Provide all necessary photography equipment, including camera, lighting, and backdrop.
• Take professional headshots for student participants.
• Edit and process all photographs taken during the event.
• Deliver the processed photos by a mutually agreed-upon deadline following the event.

Event Process and Logistics:

• Students will complete a form upon arrival providing their name, Cal Poly email address, and phone number to receive their edited photos.
• Each student may select up to three (3) headshots during their session.
• Professional attire (blazers in various sizes) will be available on-site for student use, provided by Mustang Media Relations.

Independent Contractor:

The Photographer acknowledges that they are acting as an independent contractor and not as an employee or agent of Mustang Media Fest or California Polytechnic State University.
